Only 20 industrial greenhouse gas emitters were responsible for almost half of the total greenhouse gasses generated between 1988 and 2015. And 100 companies were the main cause of 71% of the global emissions. Unsurprisingly most of these are coal and oil giants or whole countries.
So how do we affect these massive corporations and pushing them to reduce their total emissions?
The answer is quite simple – reduce the number of flights or car trips that you do by 25%. Pick a more environmentally friendly way of travel or skip the trip all together. Most of us are now quite used to doing a Zoom meeting instead.
